City of Imperial Beach

Situated in the southwest corner of the region, Imperial Beach is flanked by the Pacific Ocean on the west, San Diego Bay on the North, and the Tijuana River and international border on the south and the City of San Diego on the east. It is located five miles northwest of downtown Tijuana, Mexico. Within the city, there are six public parks, one preschool, five elementary schools, one middle school, two high schools and three alternative education schools. The transportation network includes three MTS bus routes.
